Mathryx · iOS · Version 1.0
Mathryx Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4 October 2026. Applies to Mathryx version 1.0 (com.archmorrow.mathryx), made by Archmorrow.
Your learning stays on your device
Mathryx helps UK secondary-school students in Years 7–11, approximately ages 11–16, practise mathematics. There is no sign-in or account in version 1.0. The app does not collect an email address or password, and Archmorrow does not receive your learning record.
Mathryx has no server, cloud database or backend and makes no network calls of its own. Apple’s purchase services are used to check subscription status.
What Mathryx stores
The following information is kept in the app’s private storage on your device:
- Learner setup: a randomly generated learner ID, school year (7–11), optional GCSE tier and chosen goal: support schoolwork, build confidence or prepare for GCSE.
- Optional display name: you do not need to provide one. The app advises against using personal information.
- Learning record: questions seen, answers, hints and worked examples used, optional typed working, skipped questions, saved practice, placement and checkpoint results, and progress.
- Activity: the dates you opened the app—not opening times—and counts of completed questions and sessions, used for streaks and weekly goals.
- Planner settings: chosen study days and time, weekly goal and whether reminders are enabled.
This information supports learning, progress, activity and planner features on your device. It is not uploaded to Archmorrow.
Your device’s backup settings may include it in an iCloud or device backup. Those backups are managed by Apple, not Archmorrow.
Purchases
Mathryx offers one yearly auto-renewing subscription priced at £19.99, purchased through Apple. Apple handles payment. Mathryx does not receive your payment-card details or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.
Apple’s handling of purchase information is described in its App Store privacy information.
No advertising or tracking tools
Mathryx 1.0 has no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools, and contains no third-party software kits.
Apple’s own optional crash and usage sharing is separate. You control it through iOS Settings, and Apple manages it under its App Analytics privacy information.
Optional reminders
If you enable reminders, Mathryx schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications never show your answers or results.
Exporting your learning
You can choose to export your learning record to a file and save it wherever you prefer. If you save or share that file outside the app, its handling depends on the location or service you choose. Archmorrow does not receive the export automatically.
Deleting your learning
To erase the learning information held by the app, open Settings in Mathryx and choose “Delete learning from this device…”. Deleting the app also removes its local data. These actions do not delete copies you previously exported or copies held in Apple-managed backups.
Deleting learning data or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions are managed separately through Apple; see Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Accounts and cloud features are not available in 1.0
Optional accounts, cloud backup and parent-linking features are disabled and hidden in Mathryx 1.0. They are not live services. If these features are introduced later, this policy will be updated before they become available.
Contacting Archmorrow
For support or privacy questions, email support@archmorrow.com.
If you email us, you provide the email address and information included in your message. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information about a learner.
App Store privacy information
Mathryx 1.0’s App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected. The learning information described above is stored on your device rather than collected by Archmorrow through the app.
